ARIES MECHANICAL TESTING SERVICES provide a comprehensive range of mechanical and metallurgical testing services to identify mechanical properties of materials. We measure strength and ductility of the materials under various conditions such as temperature, tension, compression, impact, load etc. We have well equipped in-house machine shop with advanced testing equipments to conduct the tests as per ASTM, BS, BS EN, DIN, ISO or client/project specified standards.
Mechanical Testing Services (Metallurgical & Destructive)
It’s necessary to test and measure the mechanical properties of predetermined material such that unacceptable levels of failure or deformation will not occur. It’s important to know the characteristics of the material and to design the member from which it is made such that any resulting deformation will not be excessive and fracture will not occur. The mechanical behavior of a material reflects the relationship between deformations to an applied load. The most important mechanical properties are strength, hardness, ductility and stiffness.
We are well equipped to ascertain the mechanical properties with carefully designed laboratory methods, data analysis and experienced personal’s interpretation.

One of the most common mechanical stress–strain tests is performed in tension. The tension test can be used to ascertain several mechanical properties of materials that are important in design. the test result will give Yield Strength ,Tensile Strength, % Elongation, reduction area etc

Field Metallography Techniques (Replica Metallography)
Performed “on location” or in the “field” on components that are too large to bring to the metallographic laboratory. Generally, these components are still being used in service or must be returned to service and cannot be destructively sectioned or physically altered. it is sometimes called nondestructive metallography
