Global Strength Analysis

Global strength analysis using FE-analysis is the most extensively used method for the optimization of sea-going vessels and offshore platforms. Finite Element Analysis

Finite element analysis is a fallback tool for every validation and optimization in all fields of engineering. FE experience involving global models as well as microengineering aspects of connection details have been carried out to client satisfaction. The structural design requirements of an offshore platform subjected to wave-induced forces and moments in steel jackets can play a major role in the design of the offshore structures. A finite element model is employed to determine the stresses and displacements in a steel jacket under combined structural and wave loadings. Non-linear Analysis of structures is to check for changes in the physical behavior of the material due to loading for a longer period. The loading pattern is analyzed for the worst probable deflection and is stimulated. The exact estimation of the fatigue life of the structure is obtained by a non-linear analysis
